“I am married to my husband, Bryan, and we have a 2.5-year-old son, Parker, a puggle, Anna, and a baby girl due Feb 2018. I grew up in Westerville, OH and didn’t realize I wanted to pursue dentistry until my senior year of college. During the application process, Bryan and I moved to Chicago where I completed my MBA. I completed my doctorate of dental medicine in Arizona and loved it so much; we stayed so I could practice in Scottsdale for a few years. After having Parker, we realized how important it was for us to live near our families and chose to move back to Ohio so we could be closer to them. After moving back to Ohio, I knew I wanted to open a dental practice in my community of Lewis Center. Olentangy Modern Dental is the practice I’ve always envisioned and I’m excited to serve the Lewis Center community.”

What do you do outside of the office?
“I love going to see live music, spending time with my husband and son, impromptu dance parties with my son, going to football games (Ohio State Buckeyes and Indianapolis Colts), trying new restaurants (especially Mexican food), enjoying wine and shopping with girlfriends.”

Who is your hero? Why?
“My dad. He worked full time while putting himself through college, having a family, and then leading a successful business career. He’s always encouraged me to pursue my dreams and taught me that I can do anything as long as I work hard. I can only hope that I will be a fraction of the role model to my children as he is to me.”

What “lesson from mom” do you still live by?
“Always treat others how you want to be treated and use your manners!”

What flavor of ice cream would you be?
“I am 100% a chocolate/vanilla swirl with rainbow sprinkles kind of girl. Just like the ice cream, I am traditional like vanilla, adventurous like chocolate and love a little sparkle/fun in my life like rainbow sprinkles.”
